Understanding the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme provides support and services to help people with disabilities live more independently and participate fully in their communities

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia's way of providing support for people with permanent and significant disabilities, their families, and carers. It's designed to help you achieve your goals and live the life you want.

Person-Centered: Your plan is built around your individual goals, needs, and circumstances

Flexible Funding: Choose how you use your funding to achieve your goals

Early Intervention: Support when you need it to prevent issues from becoming bigger

Community Connection: Support to participate in your community and maintain relationships
